Fire Safety Science (FSS) is a leading publication in China which deals with all aspects of fire science and safety engineering. This journal is edited and published by State Key Laboratory of Fire Science (SKLFS), in both Chinese and English. The first issue of FSS was published in 1993. Its scope is purposefully wide, encouraging papers from all sources and providing a forum for its further development as a distinct engineering discipline. The topics of this journal include Fire chemistry and physics, Fire dynamics, Fire protection, People/fire interactions, Fire safety management, Fire Risk Assessment,  Fire investigation, Fire safety design, Fire safety legislation, and so on. Original contributions relating to any of the above topics are invited.
